US Senators Chris Murphy, Jeanne Shaheen, and Thom Tillis have arrived in Pristina as part of a Balkan tour. They were welcomed by the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier.
“Delighted to welcome Senators Shaheen, Murphy, and Tillis to Kosovo today, all longtime advocates for Kosovo’s independence, sovereignty, and Euro-Atlantic integration. Look forward to substantive engagements showcasing Kosovan leaders, youth, and Kosovo’s hospitality hosting Afghans,” Hovenier wrote on Twitter.

During a press conference in Belgrade after meeting with the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday, the three senators were also asked about the Kosovo-Serbia agreements. Murphy said that they would visit Kosovo during the week and that they would put pressure on the Kosovo government to keep its promises about the Brussels agreements.
