German Envoy for the Western Balkan region, Manuel Sarrazin, is paying an official visit to Kosovo. On Thursday he visited the Decan Monastery where he was hosted by Abbot Sava Janjic.
“Great to visit Decani Monastery yesterday and to talk Father Sava. Cultural heritage of Detcani is an important part of the multi-ethnic Kosovo. Looking forward to coming back in future,” Sarrazin wrote on Twitter.

Also, Decan Monastery on its Twitter account posted photos of Sarrazin’s visit who was accompanied by the German Ambassador to Pristina Jorn Rohde. “Fr. Sava shared with Mr. Sarrazin a German Ambassador Rohde his concerns on protection of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and discussed improvement of life for all communities,” according to the Decan Monastery statement. /GazetaExpress/
