The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo (BSPK) has organsied Friday a protest March in capital Pristina demanding the Government to increase minimum wage and threatened with general strike if their demands are not met, Gazeta Express reports.
Hundreds of people gathered Friday in Pristina centre in a protest march organized by independent trade union. The protesters were seen holding a big banner reading “Prime Minister, fulfill our demands! Prevent general strike!” The unionists dressed the Government several demands, including increase of salaries. They also want increase of minimum wage, adoption of the Law on wages, implementation of the Law on health insurance, signing of the collective agreement, amending and supplementing of the Law on Pension Schemes financed by the state. /GazetaExpress/
