Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, who reportedly is a potential European Union special representative for the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, has said that he will make a final decision on his future political engagement within the next two weeks, after the general elections in Slovakia.
Asked by the media about the possibility of him being appointed United Nations Special Representative for the Western Sahara region, Lajcak said: “It seems that I will remain committed to the Balkans all my life. For the time being I am analyzing several different offers, including the one from the region.”
EU foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, during his visit to Kosovo and Serbia in January said that he was considering appointing an envoy on Dialogue. /GazetaExpress/
