Lajcak congratulates Kurti, mentions resumption of dialogue

The European Union Special Representative on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has congratulated new prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, Gazeta Express reports.

Lajcak wrote on Twitter that the EU stands ready to facilitate the Dialogue with Serbia.

“Congratulations Albin Kurti on your election as Prime Minister. I wish you success in meeting the high expectations of the citizens of Kosovo. The EU stands ready to facilitate the Dialogue on normalization of relations with Serbia,” Lajcak wrote on Twitter.

Albin Kurti on Tuesday assumed his duties as new prime minister of Kosovo. In his earlier statements Kurti said that the EU-facilitated dialogue with Serbia is not among priorities of his new Government. /GazetaExpress/
